Ananta Khanal is a PhD student in Rhetoric and Composition at the University of Louisville, Kentucky, USA.  His work explores the intersections of AI, language and power, and composition pedagogy. He is particularly interested in integrating non-Western and Western epistemologies to advance academic knowledge. He is one of the recipients of the 2026 CCCC Scholars of the Dream Travel Award.
